Draft for review. This text is written for Aeroledger and should be checked by a legal adviser before launch.
Before you delete
Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. Export your logbook first: Settings › Import/Export gives you a CSV of every flight, and the logbook pages offer EASA or FAA PDFs.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in to the logbook.
- Open Settings › Options and scroll to the Profile card.
- Choose Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm.
If you have Airplane Pro, cancel it first. Deleting the account stops renewal, but already-paid periods are not refunded after the 14-day withdrawal period.
Ask us to delete it
Cannot sign in? Use the contact form (topic “Privacy / my data”) with the email address registered on the account. We confirm it is you, delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile, password and sessions.
- Your flights, simulator sessions, licences, medicals, ratings, currencies and your list of aircraft.
- Your links with GliderTrack clubs.
What stays
- Copies of flights an instructor signed for you stay in the instructor's own logbook, because they are part of their flying record.
- Shared master data such as aircraft and simulator types you added, without your name.
- Invoices, which we must keep for 7 years.
- Backups, until they roll over within 30 days.
