ALAeroledger

Terms of use

The agreement between you and Aeroledger · Last updated 26 October 2026

Draft for review. This text is written for Aeroledger and should be checked by a legal adviser before launch.

1. Who we are

These terms apply to aeroledger.eu, the Aeroledger logbook, GliderTrack and the Logbook Binder ("the services"), provided by Aeroledger. By creating an account you accept these terms.

2. Your account

3. Your logbook is your responsibility

Aeroledger helps you keep your logbook, but you remain responsible for its content and for meeting the rules of your authority (EASA, FAA or national). Check your totals and exports before you use them for a licence, rating or employer. Totals, currency and expiry reminders are an aid, not an official statement. Where your authority requires a signed paper logbook, keep one. The Logbook Binder is made for that.

4. Plans and payment

5. Fair use

Do not misuse the services: no attempts to access other people's data, no automated scraping, no overloading the systems and no false sign-offs. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after a warning where reasonable.

6. Your data and content

Your flights and documents remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the services. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy.

7. Availability

We aim for a reliable service and keep regular backups, but we cannot promise it is never interrupted. We announce planned maintenance where possible.

8. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income or a rejected licence application caused by unchecked logbook data. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Ending

You can delete your account at any time (see account deletion). We may end the services with at least three months' notice, giving you time to export your data.

10. Law and disputes

The law of the country where Aeroledger is established applies. We first try to solve any disagreement together. If that fails, the competent court decides, without affecting your right as a consumer to rely on the law and courts of your own country.
